Ariel Winter and boyfriend Levi Meaden have been dating for more than a year and appear stronger than ever.

ET spoke with Meaden at the Pacific Rim: Uprising premiere in Los Angeles on Wednesday, where he talked about his new sci-fi film as well as his relationship with Winter. The two live together, and Meaden says “nothing” has changed when it comes to their dynamic.

“Less fear, I guess. That’s the only thing,” he tells ET’s Courtney Tezeno. “We’re happier than ever. We’ve got three dogs, we adopted a bunny, there might be another one on the way. I guess, more animals. That’s what’s changed. There was two dogs to begin with, now we got another dog and a rabbit. So, in a year maybe, I don’t know, a whole farm?”

Meaden, 30, even had a hard time coming up with a pet peeve when it comes to 20-year-old Winter.

“I mean, the pet peeves I kinda love,” he explains. “She doesn’t really know movies, which is amazing, because she’s been in movies for so long, but she doesn’t — she never watched them! So, it’s not really a pet peeve as much as it’s something I really enjoy, because I get to show her all these old films. Probably a pet peeve of hers, because then I go into all the trivia and explain the history of the movie until she’s like, ‘Shut up, Levi!'”

Winter, looking stunning in a striking red dress and heels, attended the premiere to support her beau. Meaden, who said Winter visited him in Australia and China while shooting the film, explained the meaningful tattoos they have for one another. The actor showed off the ink on his finger of a jar reading “PB,” which stands for peanut butter, his nickname for Winter.

“Well, I’m not sure how it came about, but she has ‘Cheese’ on her finger and she says, ‘It’s a messed-up sandwich that works,'” Meaden shares. “Peanut butter and cheese! Now, everyone thinks it doesn’t, but if you try it — depending on the cheese — it’s really good.”

Add the cast of Modern Family to the growing number of people advocating for reform of the country’s gun laws.

In a video posted Wednesday by Everytown for Gun Safety, nine stars of the Emmy-winning ABC family comedy — Julie Bowen, Ty Burrell, Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Nolan Gould, Sarah Hyland, Ed O’Neill, Eric Stonestreet, Sofia Vergara, and Ariel Winter — expressed support for the students of the Florida high school where 17 people were killed in a shooting last month, and vowed to join them on their crusade for change.

“We send our condolences and support to the students of Parkland — and people everywhere fighting for common-sense gun laws,” the cast says in the video. “Your bravery and resolve in response to this senseless tragedy inspires us and gives us hope, that someday our lawmakers will stop putting the interests of the NRA ahead of what’s best for our children. You’ve shown young people, you’ve shown everyone, that it is not enough to just like posts and retweet. We all have to get all involved, and we all have to register to vote. Too many excuses have been made. Too many lives have been lost. So thank you for taking on this challenge. We stand with you, and we will be right there by your side, as Americans take to the streets on March 24, making their voices heard at the March for Our Lives. On behalf of families everywhere, never again.”

Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School students have organized the March for Our Lives — which will take place in Washington, D.C. — to demand an end to gun-related violence and mass shootings at schools.

Ariel Winter has grown up before our very eyes thanks to her role as Alex Dunphy on ABC’s hit sitcom Modern Family, a show she booked when she was just 11 years old. But now, she’s ready to show the world that she’s more than just a sitcom star, and fans should get ready for a brand new Ariel Winter in The Last Movie Star, on DIRECTV now and in theaters Mar. 30.

In The Last Movie Star, the actor plays Lil, a tattooed wild child who wears a uniform of booty shorts and crop tops and picks up a temp job working as a 24-hour chauffeur for the past-his-prime movie star Vic Edwards (Burt Reynolds) in Nashville. In other words, the role is the opposite of Winter’s goody-two-shoes television alter ego. In the exclusive clip from The Last Movie Star below, Lil shows up late to pic Vic up from the airport, and it’s safe to say she doesn’t make the best impression on the older star. Over the course of the film, though, Lil and Vic get to know each other better and form an unlikely friendship — hopefully one that no longer requires Vic hitting Lil in the leg with his cane to get her attention.

The movie, previously titled Dog Years, marks Winter’s first live action film in almost three years, and it’s certainly a departure from her sweet Modern Family on screen persona. “I’ve been playing Alex for eight years, and I love her, but I’ve been wanting to transition into more adult roles because I’m an adult now,” the actor said in an interview with Maxim. “I wanted to show that I have a broad skill set.”

That said, it was actually Winter’s prior experience on Modern Family that The Last Movie Star writer-director Adam Rifkin said made her perfect for the role. “We needed somebody who was young enough to be believable in the role, but with enough experience to match wits with Burt,” Rifkin said in an interview with Entertainment Weekly. “Ariel Winter fit the bill perfectly… She and Burt were great at throwing barbs at each other and giving each other sh*t.”

A24 has released a brand new trailer for ‘The Last Movie Star’, which stars Burt Reynolds (Boogie Nights, Smokey and the Bandit), Ariel Winter (Modern Family, Sofia the First) and Clark Duke (Hot Tub Time Machine, Kick-Ass 2). You can check out the trailer for The Last Movie Star in the player below.

In the film, Reynolds plays an aging actor named Vic Edwards who was very popular in his earlier career. He was a college football player, then a stunt double and then a leading man. He heads to Nashville (after getting advice from a friend played by Chevy Chase) to get a lifetime achievement award. Instead of being given a hotel suite and pampered, he finds that it’s a low budget festival put on locally and that he’s the only major honoree who has ever shown up. While he’s there, however, he goes on a journey of self-discovery.

‘The Last Movie Star’ is directed by Adam Rifkin (Small Soldiers, Look) and also stars Ellar Coltrane (Boyhood, Fast Food Nation). The film will premiere on DIRECTV on February 22 and will hit select theaters in New York and Los Angeles on March 30.

Ariel Winter had a crappy weekend — literally.

The actress was more than happy to return to the comfort of her own home following an “unfortunate” incident that happened at a house she was renting over the weekend.

“I come back from lunch to find s— thrown all over the front of the house I’m staying in,” Winter, 19, tweeted Sunday evening.

In a follow-up tweet, the Modern Family star revealed that she booked the home through Airbnb, a community marketplace that allows people to list, discover and reserve accommodations around the world through a local host.

“I still can’t believe someone threw [poop] all over my Airbnb…like bruh I just got here with my scrabble chiiiiiiillllllll. Never been happier to go home,” she continued.

“I also just have to say…through all of this [s—] (literally) @LeviMeaden is my rock and I couldn’t be luckier,” she tweeted about her boyfriend, Levi Meaden. “I love you.”

In a statement to PEOPLE on Tuesday, Airbnb spokesperson Jeff Henry said that the issue had been resolved.

“Our host reported this issue to us and immediately resolved it for our guest during the reservation. A neighbor’s child was playing near the listing and caused the unfortunate damage,” Henry said. “We have reached out to our guest to offer additional support. We work hard to make sure every guest has a great experience and want to make it right when things don’t go as expected.”

Ariel Winter has posted a video on Twitter of herself belting out a tune from one of her favorite artists.

“Hi, I’m Ariel and I’m doing a cover of Taylor Swift’s ‘I Knew You Were Trouble’ and I hope you like it,” the Modern Family star says at the top of the clip.

Accompanied by an acoustic guitar being played slightly off-camera, the 14-year-old actress proceeds to sing her heart out.

“Cool,” she says at the very end, punctuated by an adorable laugh.
